Making Memorable Moments

What fun memories do you remember from your childhood?

One Christmas my parents hid presents throughout the house. My sister and I giggled as we opened cupboards and peeked in closets. After searching high-and-low, we discovered our Cabbage Patch dolls in the deep freezer!

Friday nights my family made homemake pizzas and marked on the calendar who got what pieces. With a family of six, corners were always a favorite!

Mom let one kid mix the dough and set it on the floor heater to rise. Another kid shredded cheese while another sampled pepperoni and sliced green peppers.

During the summer days, mom sent us outside to build forts in the woods and swim in our local pool. Then we snacked on cinnamon toast before supper.

We all have memories from our childhood. What made them memorable?

What can we do to cultivate lasting impressions with our kids, grandkids, and friends?

Live intentional and realize you only have today. Take time with the people God has placed in your life and invite more in. Shut off the technology and spend time together. says...

"Do more things that make you forget to check your phone."

"Fill you life with experiences, not things. Have stories to tell, not stuff to show."

"And people should eat and drink and enjoy the fruits of their labor, for these are gifts from God." Ecclesiastes 3:12 NLT

"A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit saps a person’s strength." Proverbs 17:22 NLT

What are some way you make memorable moments? Please share.
